When Smith Apartments started in 1958, we had only one building on Second St. and Armory St. in Champaign, IL that held 8 apartment units. Today, we have grown to 12 buildings with 180 units within the Champaign-Urbana area. Our reputation and facilities have grown in size and in quality.

We celebrate that we have been able to provide safe and comfortable housing for university students and others in the community for over 50 years. We look forward to continuing to serve our residents with safe and secure facilities in the twin cities.
